Michelle Kirshen started her career in public accounting working for a large multi-national corporation in their audit group. She reviewed the books and records of Fortune 500 companies ensuring that they were in compliance with Canadian rules and regulations. From there Michelle moved to a smaller public accounting firm because she wanted to get a more hands on approach reviewing and auditing corporations.
After a career in public accounting, Michelle moved to Superior Plus, a multi-national energy distribution company advising on budgeting, and investor relations. While working, she discovered her talent for bookkeeping and tax preparation services. She decided to go out on her own and assist individuals, and small businesses who require a trained Chartered Professional Accountant to maintain their books, records, and of course, prepare tax returns.
Michelle strives to make bookkeeping, and tax preparation as painless a process as possible. Taxes are hard. Bookkeeping can be frustrating. Many people simply push these tasks off to the side but they are an integral part of ensuring you and your business are on the right track. Michelle will work with you to bring your books and records up to date, and prepare and file your taxes.
